The NT555RII is Nitto’s Drag Racing Radial tire developed for drag racers looking for acceleration focused performance at the dragstrip with the added utility of a streetable tire. NT555RII tires are designed with the versatility to allow drivers to drive back and forth to the track without requiring a trailer, while still delivering the traction and style of a dedicated drag racing tire. However, like all Drag Racing Radial tires, they are not intended to be driven on extremely wet roads with standing water, or in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.
